Zhivka Marinova
Here I have the opportunity to show those places in nature that have possessed my feelings during the last year. The places I’ve visited and fell in love with, and later - drew. Generally – these are landscapes, but in no case are they a literal transfer of nature to canvas, ie. not a matter of realism.
You can feel something else, something personal, a kind of particular view of what the eyes see, and transformed enough to meet the artist’s own criteria for building of the painting in a way to express her own emotions.

2012 – Grand Prix Award for painting in the National ALIANZ Bulgaria competition for painting, graphics and sculpture
2004 – 3rd award of the National Competition of the International Foundation “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”
1995 – 1st award “Vlado Bunardjiev” .
